When can I move in?
If there is a storage space available that meets your specific storage needs, you can move in straight away.
How much notice needs to be given?
All contracts are month to month. However, for storage units we do require a 14-day notice in writing before you move out. For offices, we require 1 month’s notice in writing.
What documentation is required for me to rent a space?
We require a government-issued photo ID (example: driver’s license, or passport) and a proof of address (example: utility bill).
Do I need to sign a long term lease?
No, we rent on a month-to-month basis unless the customer requests otherwise.
Does a staff member have to give me access to my unit?
No, you will be given your own unique security code to gain entry into Storage Vault.
How do I make a payment?
We take payment via Autopay on the first of each month. As it is a flexible lease, we require payment on the first day of the month.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, Visa Debit, Visa Electron.
How do I know how much storage space I will need?
When selecting vault types on our unit pages, our vault comparisons will help. If you’d still like to make sure, call 0141 887 1000 for further information.
Do I need to bring my own lock?
We sell padlocks and other storage equipment you may need. Please contact one of our storage facilities to check what’s available at your chosen location.
Are there any items that I am not able to store?
Unable in the normal course of business to accept any of the following types of items: (a) Any living thing, including any animals, birds, fish, reptiles and plants; (b) Any goods that are likely to encourage vermin or other pests or to cause infestation; (c) Any goods that require a special licence; (d) Any goods that require government permission to import or export; (e) Any food &/or drink that is, or needs to be, refrigerated or frozen; (f) Any drugs; (g) Any stolen or prohibited or illegal goods; (h) Any goods that are potentially dangerous, explosive or otherwise liable to cause damage. This includes but is not limited to firearms, ammunition, paints, aerosols and gas bottles and canisters; (i) Any jewellery, including trinkets and watches, and precious stones or metals or items made from precious metals or including precious stones; j) Any money, securities, financial or legal documents, including but not limited to share certificates and leases; (k) Any collections of stamps, coins or other similar collectable items.
Do you have handcarts and dollies available at your facility?
We have various pieces of equipment available, but it is on a first come, first served basis.
