Storage Vault purchases third site in Newbridge, Edinburgh

Storage Vault has gone East with its third acquisition in Scotland after buying a vacant warehouse on Harvest Road, Newbridge.

The 2.7 acre site contains a 15,000 sq ft warehouse.  The development will see the warehouse divided into storage and work space units from 35 sq ft up to 665 sq ft.  The site sits in a prime location boundaried by the main Glasgow to Edinburgh railway line on one side and the M8/M9 motorway on the other. The site is within minutes of Edinburgh Airport and the Royal Highland Centre at Ingliston.

Anthony McAteer, Managing Director said: “Newbridge is a prime location for Storage Vault Work Space, and the Harvest Road site is ideally situated to target small business owners servicing Edinburgh.  The overall vacancy levels for light industrial & industrial properties is below 3% in the area.”

Investor John McGlynn said: “Storage Vault is planning for significant growth across the country to address the shortage of good quality, affordable CoVault work space.  This will be Storage Vault’s third asset – with many more in the pipeline across Scotland.”
